Details
Chicken schnitzel with vegetable stew and potatoes is a tasty and familiar meal featuring a crispy fried chicken schnitzel, soft potatoes, and a rich vegetable stew. The combination of crispy, soft, and savory makes this a true comfort food meal.
Fun fact: schnitzel is best known from Austrian and German cuisine. Although the classic schnitzel is made from veal, the chicken version has become just as popular due to its mild flavor and crispy crust.
Ingredients
Chicken breast, potatoes, zucchini, diced tomatoes, red onion, green olives, garlic, lemon, rosemary, vegetable bouillon powder (celery), panko (gluten), egg (egg), flour (gluten), olive oil, vegetable oil, sugar, pepper, and salt.
Heating
Microwave: remove the lid and cover, for example with a microwave-safe cover. Heat for 2–3 minutes at 800 W. Stir or shake and heat for another 30–60 seconds if necessary.
Pan: gently heat in a pan with a small splash of oil or butter, until the desired temperature is reached.
Oven: heat in an oven dish for 15–30 minutes at 150 °C. Covering prevents it from drying out.
