Details
Sunday Roast is a classic British dish featuring succulent chicken, golden-brown roasted baby potatoes, and flavorful vegetables. Red bell pepper, red onion, garlic, and aromatic rosemary come together for a simple yet hearty meal straight from the oven.
Fun fact: the Sunday Roast originated in England as a traditional Sunday family meal. Originally, the meat was roasted slowly while families attended church. Today, it remains a beloved meal that brings family and friends together.
Ingredients
Chicken thighs with skin, baby potatoes, red bell pepper, red onion, garlic, rosemary, paprika powder, sunflower oil, chicken stock, mustard, ketjap manis (sweet soy sauce), pepper and salt.
Heating instructions
Microwave: remove the lid and cover the meal loosely with a microwave-safe cover. Heat for 2 to 3 minutes at 800 watts. Stir or shake the meal and heat for another 30 to 60 seconds if necessary.
Pan: heat the meal gently in a pan over medium heat. Add a small splash of oil or water if desired and stir regularly.
Oven: place the meal in an ovenproof dish and heat for 15 to 30 minutes at 150 °C. Cover the dish partially to prevent drying out.
